MEES Be prepared for changes taking effect in April 2023

Changes are coming from 1 April 2023 in relation to the Minimum Energy Efficiency Standard (MEES) Regulations. From this date, landlords will be in breach of the Regulations if they continue to let commercial premises in England and Wales that have an EPC rating below "E", unless an exception applies and has been registered on the PRS Exemption Register.

Landlords of commercial property should now take time to review the following information in advance of 1 April.
