Brian Fielden has a national and international construction law practice representing owners, developers, contractors and lenders in both transactional and litigation matters. He also represents clients in a variety of commercial real estate litigation matters.

Brian has worked on projects located throughout the United States and in the Caribbean, Canada, Latin America, UK, Italy, Asia and the Middle East. His broad range of experience includes renewable energy projects, combined-cycle power plants, professional sports stadiums, mixed-use developments, apartments, condominiums, retail, office, student-housing facilities, hotels, mass-transit facilities, CNG fueling stations, hospitals, water-treatment facilities and performing arts centers.

In his transactional practice, Brian regularly represents some of the largest US owners and developers in negotiating design and construction agreements for their projects in both the commercial and energy sectors. He also advises national companies in preparing form design and construction documents and implementing internal procedures, to manage risk and avoid claims in their construction programs. These clients include some of largest companies in the US and the world in their respective industries.

Brian's adversarial practice has spanned a broad range of complex construction and real estate-related matters involving multi-million dollar claims. Regarding construction matters, these litigation and arbitration engagements have ranged from lien claims to complex delay claims to significant construction defect claims, including numerous cases involving water intrusion.

Brian has been accredited as a LEED® AP (BD+C) by the Green Building Certification Institute.
