DLA Piper advises team.blue on the acquisition of Bulgarian webhosting company SuperHosting

DLA Piper has advised team.blue on the acquisition of SuperHosting, a Bulgarian market leader specialising in professional web hosting, domains and VPS services. The transaction serves as a strategic acquisition to further establish and expand team.blue's presence in the CEE region and to strengthen its growth strategy.

With 23 offices across Europe, team.blue is a leading digital enabler for companies and entrepreneurs. The group was created by merging Combell Group, TransIP Group and Register Group in 2019. Team.blue serves over 2 million customers in Europe and has more than 1,000 experts to support them.

Founded in 2005, SuperHosting is now the largest and the fastest growing hosting company in Bulgaria that provides complete hosting solutions, domain registration, online SaaS platforms and other tools to support the growth of online businesses. The company is headquartered in Sofia, Bulgaria, and recently launched a second office in Serbia marking its geographical expansion in the region.

The transaction emphasizes again the in-depth M&A expertise of the DLA Piper team in the software and IT sector on cross-border transactions under the leadership of partner Dr Nils Krause.
