DLA Piper advises The Wanderlust Group in its US $14 million Series B financing

DLA Piper represented marine and outdoor lifestyle technology company The Wanderlust Group in its recent US$14.2 million Series B financing.

Since it first launched with marinas in 2015, The Wanderlust Group has connected more than 250,000 boaters with more than 15,000 marinas to search, explore, reserve and pay for reservations digitally, within a matter of minutes via its subsidiaries Dockwa and Marinas.com. It plans to use the new funding to continue to enhance its marina presence while expanding to adjacent outdoor travel experiences.

“Our wide-ranging experience advising emerging growth technology companies on complex transactions was an important factor in the success of this financing, which will enable The Wanderlust Group to continue expanding its offerings to meet the evolving needs of its customers,” said Jeffrey Leavitt, the DLA Piper partner who led the firm’s deal team.
