DLA Piper strengthens North Asia Arbitration offer with new partner hire

Global law firm DLA Piper today announces that Tony Andriotis has joined the firm in its Tokyo office as a partner to lead the International Arbitration practice in Japan.

Tony joins DLA Piper from Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP (QE), Tokyo, where he served as a partner. Prior to this he was an Associate and Counsel with Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP (HHR) for over 12 years.

Specialising in international arbitration, ADR, cross-border litigation, international regulatory work, mediation and bankruptcy, Tony has developed deep relationships with Japanese domestic law firms during his four-year secondment at top local firm Nishimura & Asahi (N&A). He also has extensive experience in the manufacturing and industrial sectors, having acted on behalf of Japanese parties in the Japan Commercial Arbitration Association (JCAA), International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) and International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR) arbitrations.
