Angela Agrusa named to the Los Angeles Business Journal's 2021 LA500 list

DLA Piper is pleased to announce that Angela Agrusa, managing partner of the firm's Los Angeles offices, was named to the Los Angeles Business Journal's 2021 LA500 list honoring the most influential leaders and impactful executives in Los Angeles.

Agrusa was highlighted as one of the country’s top litigation attorneys, who have demonstrated innovation and agility in the face of unprecedented challenges over the past year and whose vision and creativity can be counted on to help the city move forward. The publication noted her work assisting G6 Hospitality, which owns, operates and franchises more than 1,400 hotels across North America and is responsible for the Motel 6 brand, as well as her record of successfully defending such brands as Danone, Hilton, Chipotle and Motel 6.

Agrusa, who also serves as co-chair of DLA Piper's Food and Beverage subsector, defends clients in a wide variety of complex disputes with hundreds of millions of dollars at stake, including brand and individual reputation defense, business torts, consumer fraud and false labeling, competitor false advertising, unfair competition and privacy. In 2019, Agrusa was the Los Angeles Business Journal’s Litigator of the Year.
