DLA Piper advises Amber Infrastructure on their first digital investment in Australia

Global law firm DLA Piper has advised Amber Infrastructure on its first investment in a data business in Australia with the acquisition of a majority stake in data centre operator iseek.

iseek is a leading Australian digital infrastructure operator with five data centres across Australia. Amber Infrastructure is a specialist international infrastructure investment manager. This transaction marked Amber Infrastructure’s first digital investment in Australia.

The DLA Piper Australia team was led by corporate partner Shane Bilardi and included senior associate Sarah Wilson and solicitor Davina Khoo as well as support on financing from partner Alex Regan.

Shane Bilardi said “The completion of this transaction is an exciting step for the development of Amber Infrastructure’s business in Australia and we look forward to watching the growth of iseek under its new ownership.  Our team has deep experience in the data centre sector and we are pleased to be involved in another transaction in this space.”
