DLA Piper advises Heliad Equity Partners on USD40m Series B funding round of InstaFreight
DLA Piper has advised Heliad Equity Partners GmbH & Co. KGaA (Heliad) as one of the lead investors together with the European Investment Bank (EIB) in a USD40 million Series B round of digital logistics company InstaFreight. All previous investors of InstaFreight have also participated in the new financing round.
InstaFreight is one of Europe’s fastest growing log-tech start-ups and offers both efficient and digital transport services as well as transport management with its digital solutions. This involves holistic digital logistics concepts for the industry and trade sector. Thanks to the digital business model, the new investments will enhance the resilience of supply chains by providing even more capacity for European land transport and using it more efficiently. Founded in 2016, InstaFreight employs more than 200 people across Europe and carries out several thousand transports per week.
