DLA Piper advises Evergreen Group on the sale of the Evergreen Laurel Hotel to Barceló Hotel Group

DLA Piper has advised the Evergreen Group, a prominent Taiwanese conglomerate active in the maritime, aviation and hospitality sectors, on the successful strategic sale of the Evergreen Laurel Hotel Paris Levallois to the Spanish hospitality leader, Barceló Hotel Group.

Situated in Levallois-Perret, just outside central Paris, the Evergreen Laurel Hotel Paris Levallois is a 338-room property, featuring 17 suites, a complete MICE offer with nearly 700 m² of space and ten meeting rooms for up to 400 people.

The transaction, structured as a 100% share deal, was completed following a competitive sale process led by CBRE, the global leader in commercial real estate advisory. The total deal value reached EUR 70 million. Evergreen was also advised by the notarial firm Allez & Associés, recognised for its expertise in commercial real estate.

This acquisition marks Barceló Hotels’ strategic entry into the French market as part of its international expansion strategy. The hotel will be operated under the Occidental Hotels & Resorts brand.

This deal underscores DLA Piper’s deep sectoral expertise and its ability to seamlessly guide international clients through complex, cross-border real estate transactions in the hospitality sector.
