DLA Piper advises Rexera in acquisition by RealPage

DLA Piper advised Rexera, an agentic AI company focused on real estate operations, on its acquisition by RealPage, a global provider of AI-enabled software platforms to the real estate industry that has been part of Thoma Bravo’s portfolio since 2021.

The acquisition provides Real Page with Rexera’s Agentic AI capabilities to streamline some of the most complex and time-consuming processes in real estate, including HOA document retrieval, lien searches, mortgage payoffs, and compliance workflows. The enhanced platform is positioned to deliver operational efficiency, precision, and improved customer satisfaction across the industry.

“This acquisition highlights the power of combining innovative AI technology with the scale of an established industry leader,” said Charles Torres, Vice Chair of the firm’s Emerging Growth and Venture Capital practice, who led the deal team. “Vishrut, Anton, Bistra, and the entire Rexera team are fantastic; we were pleased to support them on this cross-border transaction, which reflects the growing importance of AI-driven solutions in real estate operations.”

In addition to Torres (New York), the deal team included Partners Keith Ranta (Washington, DC), Georgia Jolink (Austin), Anil John Kalia (Palo Alto), Katie Lee (New York), William Bartow (Philadelphia), and Of Counsel Nia Brown (Washington, DC), with support from Associates Marcos Taiana, Jasmine Judge, Bethany Weitzman (all New York), and Austin Vincenzini (Austin).
