He advises on coverage disputes across a broad spectrum of (re)insurance lines, including first-party property, D&O, trade credit and political risks. Badar has particular experience in high-level excess liability (re)insurance written on the Bermuda Form (New York law with English arbitration procedure) and has acted in a number of Bermuda Form arbitrations. His experience includes coverage disputes arising from large-scale environmental incidents such as oil spills, as well as mass tort claims in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors, including those relating to opioids, medical devices, and product liability.
