Antonio Longo has extensive experience in tax law, both in advisory and litigation matters. He is also highly experienced in wealth and succession planning. Antonio is Global Co-Leader of the High-Net-Worth Families & Enterprises group and Co-Head of the Private Client sector in Italy.
His practice covers international and corporate taxation, as well as personal and employment taxation. His areas of expertise also include corporate reorganizations, M&A transactions, management incentive plans, and international mobility matters for individuals. He has further developed significant experience in tax audits, tax risk management, cooperative compliance programs, and tax control frameworks. He advises clients on tax dispute resolution and tax regularization procedures.
Alongside his corporate practice, Antonio has extensive experience advising high net worth individuals and families on wealth preservation, succession planning, and the legal structuring of family assets across a variety of jurisdictions, as well as on international relocations, including immigration-related matters.
He advises numerous Italian and multinational companies across a wide range of industries, including insurance, energy, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, technology, food, and financial services. He is also a trusted advisor to high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurial families, family offices, executives, wealth management professionals, and non-profit organizations.
Antonio serves on the Branch Development Committee of STEP Worldwide (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) and chairs the Advisory Board of STEP Italy, having previously served on its Board of Directors. He is also Head of the International Tax Section of the Milan Bar Association and a member of Federmanager’s National Tax Committee.
In addition to his legal practice, Antonio is actively involved in professional institutions and legal associations. He serves as an elected Delegate of the Milan Bar to the 36th National Legal Congress and is a member of the Executive Committee of ASLA (Italian Association of Law Firms).
