UK Employment Law Health Check 2020

In 2020, we offered employers the opportunity to complete our UK Employment Law Health Check survey.

It looked at 3 key areas of the employment life cycle:

• Recruitment
• Retention
• Termination

Our questions put the spotlight on legal compliance in each part of the employment life cycle and identified the key issues for employers impacting on brand, retention of talent and legal and financial liabilities.

The results show that, for many employers, full compliance may have inadvertently slipped down the agenda last year. In a year of unprecedented challenges for business this is perhaps unsurprising; however, as 2021 progresses, it is now time to regroup and move forward.
