About

Anne is a Senior Associate in the Singapore office, advising on Singapore and international tax and transfer pricing, with a particular focus on Singapore as a regional headquarters hub for Asia-Pacific operations of multinationals.

She leads and advises on the structuring, establishment, and optimisation of Singapore and Asia-Pacific operating models for large US and other global multinationals, including operating model and IP structuring, as well as complex cross-border transactions across Asia. Her work integrates transfer pricing from design through to implementation, including value chain optimisation, financial transactions, controversy and dispute resolution, and APAs.

Anne focuses on multinational groups in the technology sector, alongside investors and growth-stage businesses expanding into or within Asia. She brings practical experience in Singapore tax, including substance, tax incentives, stamp duty, and the impact of evolving international tax developments on regional structures.

She is part of the award-winning multidisciplinary transfer pricing team at DLA Piper and plays a key role in delivering complex cross-border projects across Asia-Pacific. Anne is admitted as a Singapore Accredited Tax Advisor.

She is a regular speaker and lecturer on transfer pricing and international tax developments in Asia and has published articles in leading tax journals globally.

Experience

  • Led cross-border tax and transfer pricing restructuring projects for large US and other global multinationals, including operating model design, IP structuring and regional platform alignment across Asia-Pacific.
  • Advised multinationals on Singapore entry and expansion, including regional headquarters set-ups, operating model optimisation, and complex cross-border transactions.
  • Successfully led significant Singapore stamp duty matters, including advising on and securing stamp duty relief for US multinationals in the context of group restructurings and acquisitions.
  • Led and supported transfer pricing controversy and dispute resolution matters, as well as APA processes with tax authorities across Asia-Pacific and globally.
  • Advised many multinationals on the current Singapore incentives and the Pillar 2 impact.
  • Delivered end-to-end transfer pricing work, including design, documentation and benchmarking, for multinational groups in the technology, energy, life sciences, funds and consumer sectors.
