David Lafontaine

David practises intellectual property law with a focus on patent, trademark, and copyright litigation. ‎

David assists clients throughout all stages of their intellectual property disputes including drafting court ‎filings, and representing clients at court hearings. David also assists clients with regulatory compliance ‎including advertising claims, medical device and natural health product licensing, and packaging and ‎labelling compliance.‎

While in law school, David participated in the 2020 Harold G. Fox Intellectual Property Moot and served as ‎a caseworker in the Intellectual Property Clinic at Community Legal Services. David also holds a degree in ‎mechanical engineering from Western University. ‎
