Patrick Webb

Patrick Webb practices corporate and commercial law with a focus on private company mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, private equity and corporate governance matters.

Patrick advises clients on a diverse range of domestic and cross-border transactions, including private company mergers and acquisitions, purchase and sale transactions, lending and financing, and commercial contract drafting and negotiation. He also provides ongoing advice with respect to corporate governance, structuring and restructuring business ventures, and general corporate law. Patrick has additional experience advising public company clients, including public company mergers and acquisitions, go-public transactions, underwritten offerings, and regulatory compliance.

Prior to joining DLA Piper, Patrick worked in the technology industry after obtaining his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Victoria. While completing his J.D. at the University of Victoria, Patrick was active in the community as a clinician at the Faculty of Law’s Business Law Clinic and Law Centre, by providing legal services to businesses and members of the broader community who have limited means.
