DLA Piper advises Caisse des dépôts et consignations in its partnership with Ortec Group for the implementation of ultra fast charging stations
DLA Piper has advised Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations on the structuring and implementation of a strategic partnership with Ortec Group involving a joint investment of EUR84 million to deploy ultra-fast charging stations aimed at accelerating the transition to carbon-neutral mobility.
The investment is structured as a joint venture, with Ortec Group holding 51% and Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations holding 49%. The initiative will support the development and operation of modern, high-performance charging stations under the Oreve brand. More than 600 charging points will be installed nationwide, with the goal of reducing CO2 emissions by almost 800,000 tonnes over a 30-year period. This project marks the initial phase of a nationwide rollout of high-power charging infrastructure for both heavy-duty and passenger vehicles.
