András Herszényi

Prior to joining DLA Piper, he worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary as an investment protection officer and head of section. He acquired firm knowledge in the field of international investment law and investment dispute resolution. András represented Hungary within UNCITRAL Working Group III on the Investor-State Dispute Settlement Reform and participated in the modernisation process of the Energy Charter Treaty.

He has a comprehensive knowledge in Hungarian and EU law and was involved in projects including state aid and EU funding. In addition, he gained experience in matters related to international trade, market access, trade in services, infringement procedures, investment screening, and IP rights.
