DLA Piper strengthens international Litigation & Regulatory practice with Austrian Litigation and Regulatory partner hire

DLA Piper is expanding its international offering and strengthening its international Austrian Litigation & Regulatory practice with the appointment of Ricardo Gardini de Andrade. He joins the Vienna office as a partner from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where he was a core member of the firm’s Brazil Group for 13 years.

Ricardo specializes in international arbitration and litigation as well as on cross-border M&A / corporate matters with a particular focus on Brazilian clients and international corporations involved in Brazil. ·He regularly advises some of the largest Brazilian companies and financial institutions on their high-profile mandates across the globe, particularly in Europe. Ricardo also advises several leading international companies with operations in Brazil. He is a registered European lawyer with the Vienna Bar Association as well as admitted to practice in Brazil and Italy. Ricardo speaks Portuguese, Italian, English and German.
