Leslie Frattolin works with employers to provide strategic counsel and practical solutions to workplace and human resource issues. She practices exclusively management-side employment and labour law and counsels employers on all aspects of the employment relationship.

Leslie works with both domestic and global organizations in a broad range of industries. She has significant experience with employers in technology and insurance, having worked with many leading companies. Leslie also has significant experience with federally-regulated employers in Canada, including in telecommunication, media, banking and aviation, where she has worked with some of Canada's largest employers.

Leslie routinely advises on a broad range of employment matters, including employment agreements, compensation plans and schemes, misclassification issues, compliance matters, accommodation, and restructuring and termination. She is considered a strategic advisor to clients on complex workplace decisions. 

Leslie regularly advises companies on the employment issues associated with transactions and acquisitions, with particular focus on post-acquisition integration matters including transfer of employees, harmonizing compensation terms, and post-acquisition restructuring.  

Leslie successfully represents employers in all aspects of employment litigation, including wrongful and constructive dismissal, breach of contract disputes, and before administrative tribunals, including the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, the Canadian Human Rights Commission, the Canada Industrial Relations Board and the Ontario Labour Relations Board.  She also works with unionized employers, having negotiated many collective bargaining agreements and handled numerous union certification applications, grievance arbitrations and unfair labour practice complaints. 

Leslie proactively addresses workplace issues by providing training to organizations and their management. Leslie is active in the human resources community and regularly speaks at industry organizations on labour and employment issues.
