Mateo is an associate of the Litigation and Regulatory Department in DLA Piper Spain.
Mateo has experience in the energy regulatory sector including, among others, renewable energies, self-consumption installations and EV charging stations infrastructures. He has deep expertise in the natural gas and fuel sectors, including different activities such as production, supply, distribution, transport, and consumption, as well as natural gas markets, strategic reserves, third-party access, regulatory requirements, etc.
Mateo also advices in different matters of public law and regulated sectors, such as, public procurement, public concessions, public aids and subsidies, environmental law, town planning and administrative and contentious-administrative procedures.
His experience also includes legal advice and due diligences in different corporate transactions in regulated sectors, such as, energy, transport, telecommunications, pharma, health and environmental law.
