About

Sarah Fleury is a partner in DLA Piper's Real Estate practice in Paris.

Sarah Fleury advises French and international investors and developers on all their real estate transactions, including acquisitions/disposals of assets and companies holding real estate assets, real estate joint ventures and mergers & acquisitions, hotel investments, acquisitions of office, logistics, residential, serviced residences, life science and data center properties. She also advises clients on the negotiation and conclusion of commercial leases and construction contracts (VEFA, BEFA, property development contracts, delegated project owner, assistant project owner, project manager).

She assists foreign clients and new entrants to the French real estate market, and is also involved in construction matters and real estate litigation/property company disputes. 

She is a Global Gouverning Trustee of ULI Europe (Urban Land Institute) and a member of France Biotech's Propscience working group, set up at the request of the French government.

EXPERIENCE

  • Advising Brookfield on the acquisition of a paneuropean Hostels portfolio.
  • Advising Axens in relation to the acquisition and development of a huge production plant for electric vehicle batteries in Valenciennes.
  • Advising Emeis on the structuring of a partnership to hold approximately 90 assets operated in France, Spain and Germany, ahead of their sale to one or more international investors.
