Paula Corban-Pelin is a corporate M&A lawyer with more than 20 years of experience advising local and international corporations on M&A transaction in sectors such as energy, financial services, insurance or agribusiness.

An efficient and focused negotiator, Paula coordinates complex domestic and cross-border transactions and has brought to a successful conclusion a considerable number of deals.

She regularly advises international or local clients on renewable energy projects in all stages of the respective projects from acquisition through development until commissioning and operation. She is also highly experienced in energy trading and power purchase agreements where she regularly advises both producers and off-takers.

Paula was engaged in pioneering projects concerning the energy industry sector, with emphasis on the nuclear field, renewable energy (including project finance), cogeneration and oil & gas.

She is one of the few lawyers having capabilities on nuclear power regulatory aspects. She coordinated complex projects in the field including the project of the Cernavoda nuclear power plant development of reactors 3&4 and various other projects in the renewable energy field from the acquisition to development and project financing.
