The resilience and adaptation agenda
Aligning strategy, risk, and geopolitics in a two-speed sustainability worldMonday, 10 November 2025, Sao Paulo, Brazil
DLA Piper are bringing together senior business leaders, decision makers, and sustainability experts from across industries for a strategic conversation about how companies and organisations can prepare, adapt, and thrive in a changing world.
The response of governments, policy makers and regulators to climate change is developing and, in some cases, diverging. Businesses and organisations must navigate and adapt to these changes and differences when it comes to implementation of their sustainability strategies, the management of their supply chains, compliance with their reporting and disclosure obligations, and the expectations of their investors and other stakeholders. We will explore over dinner how businesses and organisations are responding to these competing priorities regionally and internationally.
The evening will be introduced by our Sustainability Co-Heads, Jean-Pierre Douglas-Henry and Kristy Balsanek, moderated by Ambassador McKinley (former US Ambassador to Brazil, Colombia, and Peru) and feature senior voices from leading international and regional businesses and organisations.
The event will be held under the Chatham House Rule to encourage open discussion and dialogue.
