DLA Piper advised Abony Acquisition Corp. I in its US$230 million initial public offering.
Abony Acquisition Corp. I is a special purpose acquisition company formed for the purpose of effecting a merger, amalgamation, share exchange, asset acquisition, share purchase, reorganization, or similar business combination with one or more businesses. The company may pursue an initial business combination in any industry or geographic region, but it intends to focus on target companies that have an aggregate enterprise value of approximately US$750 million to US$1.5 billion or more, that complement the management team’s background in the defense technology, advanced computing, software, and media industry sectors.
