Shaliney’s practice is focused on all aspects of management-side employment and labour law.
Shaliney has represented clients before various levels of court and tribunals, including the Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Labour Relations Board, and Tax Court of Canada. Prior to joining DLA Piper, Shaliney articled and practised at a full-service law firm in the Greater Toronto Area.
Shaliney earned a Dual J.D. at the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy. During her time in law school, Shaliney was a judicial extern at the Third Circuit Court in Detroit, Michigan, volunteered at an Immigration Law Clinic, and participated in moot court competitions on both sides of the border.
