Four DLA Piper lawyers named toD Magazine's 2021 Best Lawyers in Dallas list

DLA Piper is pleased to announce that Marc Katz, managing partner of the firm’s Dallas office, Jason Lewis, a partner in the Litigation and Regulatory practice, Sarah Bush, of counsel in the Intellectual Property and Technology practice, and Michael Massiatte, of counsel in the firm’s Employment practice, were recently named to D Magazine's 2021 Best Lawyers in Dallas list.

Katz has significant experience representing corporate clients in high-stakes trade secret and unfair competition litigation, fiduciary duty and partnership disputes, and collective and class action cases throughout the country, and has tried some of the largest and most sophisticated employment cases in the country.

Lewis, a former senior enforcement attorney at the US Securities and Exchange Commission, handles civil and criminal regulatory investigations and litigation matters across the Unites States and internationally. He focuses his practice on SEC enforcement, government investigations, securities litigation, white collar criminal defense,  healthcare fraud, conducting internal corporate investigations, FCPA matters, crisis management and business disputes.

Bush counsels national and global clients on a broad spectrum of commercial transactions, including licensing, supply chain management, transportation, technology, advertising and media placement and business process outsourcing. She also counsels franchise companies on franchise and distribution laws, including structuring, regulatory compliance, franchise relationships and dispute resolution, and buying and selling franchise systems.

Massiatte focuses his practice on labor and employment matters, including employee and labor relations, employee benefits, workplace safety and obligations arising in connection with mergers and acquisitions. He also counsels clients on litigation, commercial transactions, corporate compliance and ethics, and risk management matters and he frequently conducts high-level internal investigations.
