DLA Piper partner Benjamin Mulcahy named to the National Law Journal's 2023 list of Media & Advertising Law Trailblazers

DLA Piper is pleased to announce that Benjamin Mulcahy has been named to the National Law Journal’s 2023 list of Media & Advertising Law Trailblazers.

The publication highlighted Mulcahy’s high-profile sports media and sports marketing work, including his representation of Deloitte in its global, long-term The Olympic Program (TOP) Partnership Agreement with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC), as well as his representation of Paycor in its historic Stadium Naming Rights Agreement with the Cincinnati Bengals to rename the team’s home stadium Paycor Stadium, among other matters.

The chair of DLA Piper’s National Advertising Team, Mulcahy represents major film studios, broadcast and cable television networks, retailers, prominent website operators, major consumer brands and their agencies in all aspects of sports marketing, entertainment marketing and interactive marketing, as well as in structuring and negotiating virtual reality, gaming, eSports and innovative branded entertainment initiatives and navigating the rights of stakeholders and the ever-changing laws that affect how campaigns are activated and content is distributed across all media. He has previously been recognized by Variety in its Legal Impact Report and Dealmakers Impact Report, and by The Hollywood Reporter in its annual Power Lawyers list.
