DLA Piper advises EQT Ventures on Series A financing round in AI-company Parloa

DLA Piper advised EQT Ventures on its investment in Berlin-based enterprise software provider Parloa. Parloa has just completed a successful round of financing - acquiring EUR20 million in backing from investors, led by EQT Ventures, and including new funding from existing investors Newion and Senovo. The capital will be used to boost the company's international expansion.

Parloa is a leading AI company for customer service automation. Parloa was founded in 2018 and today employs over 100 people. The company is a Microsoft partner and runs its platform with Microsoft Azure. Customers of Parloa. include insurance companies such as ERGO, Helvetia and Swiss Life, retail companies such as Decathlon and Thalia, as well as Deutsche Glasfaser, Teamviewer and the German Red Cross.

EQT Ventures is the venture capital fund of EQT, a purpose-driven global investment organization. The fund invests globally in fast-growing, innovative and technology-driven companies across all sectors, with a focus on Europe and the US.

DLA Piper regularly advises EQT Ventures on financing rounds, most recently on its investment in spacetech company The Exploration Company.
