Advising a reputable global household goods distributor on its Hong Kong offshore claim matter by formulating a viable offshore claim, gathering documentary evidence, handling enquires from the Inland Revenue Department and representing client in its tax audit as well as restructuring the client's current operations to enhance tax efficiency. Settlement was reached with the Inland Revenue Department.
Advising the Hong Kong subsidiaries of a NYSE-listed footwear designer and distributor on its Hong Kong offshore claims matter in both profits tax unit and field audit unit of the Inland Revenue Department.
