DLA Piper was recognized by International Tax Review (ITR) with multiple awards, including North America Tax Firm of the Year, International Tax Law Firm of the Year, US Tax Disputes Firm of the Year and Pro Bono Firm of the Year, as part of the publication’s annual ITR Awards program.

San Francisco-based DLA Piper partner Henry Cheng was named the winner of the Tax Disputes & Litigation Rising Star award. He has successfully represented numerous clients in all aspects of complex domestic as well as cross-border civil tax disputes.

“These awards reflect our standing as the go-to tax law firm for clients and highlight our unparalleled technical knowledge and experience across multiple sectors, as well as our track record of delivering seamless cross-border guidance,” said Alison Maxwell, US chair of DLA Piper’s Tax practice. “No other firm delivers for clients the way we do, and these recognitions build on the growing marketplace excitement surrounding our leading Tax practice, and further demonstrate our unmatched reputation for excellence.”

The annual ITR Awards recognize the best tax law firms and accountancies, in-house teams and practitioners across tax and transfer pricing globally.
