Gábor Molnár advises investors, owners and targets on all types of M&A transactions from complex, multi-jurisdictional "megadeals" to smaller, purely domestic transactions. Under Gábor’s leadership the Corporate and M&A team has become a leader in the league tables (both in value and volume) and is consistently recognized as a preeminent Corporate and M&A team in Hungary.

Gábor has been a key advisor on several "Deal of the Year" transactions as well as complex corporate restructurings, privatizations and distressed transactions. Gábor is ranked in all major legal directories as a leading (Tier 1, Band 1) Hungarian M&A lawyer. On the basis of the aggregate value of the transactions on which Gábor advised his clients between 2005 – 2022, Gábor is one of the top three lawyers in the relevant Mergermarket league table.

Gábor Molnár is also the Co-Head of the Capital Markets practice at DLA Piper Hungary. He primarily advises on ECM transactions (IPOs, takeovers). He also regularly works with the Budapest Stock Exchange and the Hungarian regulator on reform proposals aimed at streamlining the Hungarian capital markets transactional legal framework and he also participates in the investor educational activity of the Budapest Stock Exchange.
