Stephanie is member of the Litigation Arbitration and Investigations group. Her practice is focused on commercial litigation, and environmental regulatory matters in both an advocacy and advisory capacity.
As an advocate Stephanie represents clients and assists senior counsel on a broad range of commercial disputes and regulatory matters. Her litigation experience includes matters involving competition law, commercial fraud and complex contractual disputes. She also has experience obtaining and executing mareva and anton piller orders.
From an advisory perspective, Stephanie assists clients and senior counsel on a wide array of regulatory issues including waste management and handling of hazardous goods, environmental assessments, permitting, transportation of dangerous goods, packing and labelling, greenhouse gas reporting and renewable energy, and greenwashing under the Competition Act.
Stephanie received her law degree from the University of Ottawa where she was a Research Assistant to and administrative law professor, teaching assistant for first-year contract law courses, and a Dean’s Research and Writing Fellow. Before law school, Stephanie completed a BA in Geography at Memorial University of Newfoundland with a focus on Natural Resource Management.
