She also assists clients in appellate proceedings at both the state and federal level. Her federal appellate practice has included representing amici in practice-changing appellate disputes with critical implications for a broad range of industries.

Prior to attending law school, Marie acquired over fourteen years of business experience in wide-ranging industries including information technology, winemaking, foodservice, healthcare, research, and higher education. Marie’s common-sense approach to legal practice is informed by her extensive and varied career as a business professional and entrepreneur.
