Saudi Arabia approves Double Tax Treaty with Qatar

On 5 November 2024, the Council of Ministers of Saudi Arabia have approved the Double Tax Treaty (DTT) with Qatar, which was signed on 30 May of the same year. We will report on further developments as they occur.

Saudi Arabia and Slovenia expressed interest in concluding a Double Tax Treaty

According to a Slovenian publication, Saudi Arabia and Slovenia has expressed an interest in concluding a DTT between the two jurisdictions. Further developments will be reported as they occur. 

Qatari Cabinet has approved Protocol revising the Double Tax Treaty with Norway

On 23 October 2024, the Qatari Cabinet approved the amending Protocol to the DTT (2009) between Qatar and Norway. We will report on further developments as they occur. 

Cambodia and Qatar negotiate a Double Tax Treaty

According to a press release of 24 October 2024, Cambodia and Qatar have held a first round of negotiations in Doha for a DTT between the two countries. We will report on further developments as they occur.

Oman and Luxembourg sign Double Tax Treaty

According to a press release of 17 October 2024, Oman and Luxembourg have signed a DTT. Further developments will be reported as they occur. 

Estonia and Oman sign Double Tax Treaty

On 27 October 2024, Estonia and Oman have signed a DTT, in Muscat. We will report on further developments as they occur.

Update on Oman and Ukraine Double Tax Treaty

According to a press release of 23 October 2024, Oman and Ukraine have expressed their willingness to sign the DTT between them. Further developments will be reported as they occur.

Kuwait and Macau negotiate a Double Tax Treaty

According to a press release of 14 October 2024, Kuwait and Macau have held a first round of negotiations in Macau for a DTT between the two countries. We will report on further developments as they occur.

Tajikistan and Kuwait sign Protocol revising the Double Tax Treaty   

On 3 November 2024, Kuwait and Tajikistan signed the amending Protocol to the DTT (2013) between the jurisdictions. Further developments will be reported as they occur.

Bahrain and Guernsey sign Double Tax Treaty

On 29 September 2024, Bahrain and Guernsey have signed a DTT, in Manama. We will report on further developments as they occur.

The GCC Member States continue expanding and updating their Double Tax Treaty networks for the benefit of international businesses
