He has well over a decade of experience in trademark search and clearance matters as well as intellectual property (IP) due diligence for corporate, transactional, and security agreements. He frequently manages cross border disputes, creates global enforcement and infringement defense strategies, devises settlements and other alternative resolutions, and oversees the execution of these by local practitioners.

Alberto regularly manages critical launch and rebranding efforts and related transactions, including the acquisition of domain names, social media handles, trademark registrations, and other IP assets. He also advises on copyright prosecution and infringement matters and designs enforcement strategies for leading publications, software and video game development companies, and IP licensing businesses. Alberto is also a native Spanish speaker and highly involved with client matters in Latin America, including copyright title and pre-publication review and clearance for both boutique production companies and global entertainment corporations.
