Whitney tackles the most challenging legal issues at the intersection of government investigations and class actions for Fortune 500 companies.

Prior to joining DLA Piper, Whitney was a federal prosecutor and Chief of Appeals; in that capacity she successfully tried complex suits involving financial crimes, and she briefed and argued multiple appeals before the Third Circuit. She leverages her prior government experience to evaluate regulatory authority and minimize the effects of government action on multi-party suits.

Through her significant trial and appellate experience, Whitney understands how and when to litigate, and she enjoys working with clients to develop overarching litigation strategies that fit their complex business needs. Whitney's focus on internalizing her client's strategic goals and situating those within the developing legal landscape spreads across multiple issues, including ESG-related mass tort suits, antitrust conspiracy allegations, and novel regulatory disputes.
