Magdalena Kołodziejczyk advises on personal data protection, the management of intellectual property assets (including copyrights), commercial transactions and e-commerce.
She supports Polish and multinational clients from a wide variety of sectors, including IT, financial services, food, new technologies and fashion, in implementing and adapting internal documentation to meet personal data protection law requirements, and in drafting and negotiating relevant agreements. She provides ongoing advice on personal data breaches, assisting clients with notifications and representing them before state authorities and courts, and on background screening and data retention matters.
Magdalena advises clients entering the Polish market or launching new products in Poland on e-commerce regulations, direct marketing obligations, consumer protection law, advertising law, data protection compliance and distribution models, including franchising. She drafts and reviews agreements securing intellectual property assets, such as license agreements and agreements on the transfer of rights. She also provides advisory to clients in relation to infringement and enforcement of their intellectual property rights.
Magdalena also drafts legal opinions , complaints, and submissions to Polish and EU authorities in IP and data protection matters on behalf of client. On daily basis Magdalena contributes her intellectual property, new technologies and data protection know-how in due diligence and M&A projects.
