  • Advising Tata Group on its joint venture with Mercuria Energy Group to launch a range of commodities, including oil, gas and environmental products.
  • Advising GFH Equities on its strategic majority investment in Byrne Equipment Rental, one of the largest plant and equipment rental companies in the Middle East.
  • Advising Network International, a leading fintech company across the Middle East and Africa, on its acquisition of RAKBANK’s merchant acquiring business in the UAE.
  • Advising Engie, global energy player and a pioneer of energy transition, on various divestments in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
  • Advising SC Ventures, Standard Chartered’s innovation, fintech investment and venture arm, on its investment, alongside Yabx, into a financial services platform operating in Africa.
  • Advising Tether, the largest company in the digital asset industry, on its joint venture with Phoenix Group PLC to launch a new stablecoin in the UAE that is pegged in the UAE Dirham.
  • Advising RIMCO Investments LLC on its significant equity investment, alongside a consortium of investors led by Fajr Capital, into Aster’s GCC healthcare business.
  • Advising Zain Group on a number of significant corporate transactions including its: (i) acquisition of a controlling interest in ZainCash Iraq, a licensed mobile wallet and electronic payment service in Iraq; (ii) acquisition of IHS Holding Limited’s 70% interest in IHS Kuwait Limited, an independent licensed Tower Company that owns 1,675 sites and manages an additional approximate 700 sites in Kuwait; (iii) acquisition of Specialized Technical Services Company (STS), a prominent player in the digital transformation solutions industry across the Middle East; (iv) acquisition of BIOS Middle East, the Middle East’s leading cloud provider; and (v) its acquisition of Infonas as part of its strategy to accelerate expansion into the corporate and ICT sectors.
  • Advising Saudi Tabreed on a significant equity investment by the Public Investment Fund, Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund.
  • Advising AD Ports Group on the USD1.9bn (AED7bn) merger of its KEZAD Communities operation with Al Eskan Al Jamae Group (EAJ), creating Abu Dhabi's largest integrated staff accommodation company.
