DLA Piper adds securities partner Grant Buerstetta to its New York City office

DLA Piper is expanding its Finance practice with the arrival of Grant Buerstetta as partner in the firm’s New York City office. Buerstetta will be a member of the Finance practice’s Structured Finance subgroup.

 

Buerstetta is a securities lawyer who focuses his practice representing financial institutions, asset managers, issuers and investment funds focused on debt and structured securities. He advises clients with matters relating to: alternative investment fund formation and operation; complex structured and asset-backed securities and securitization transactions; and securities issuances in domestic and international capital markets; among others.

 

Buerstetta also has extensive experience analyzing and structuring, revising and unwinding asset-backed securities. He has also represented major financial institutions, rating agencies, hedge funds and collateral managers, among others, in collateralized debt obligations, collateralized loan obligations and other securitization transactions.
