DLA Piper advises Vanco on its acquisition of ACS Technologies

DLA Piper counseled Great Hill Partners portfolio company Vanco, a provider of secure digital payments and online giving for faith communities, schools, and nonprofits, in its acquisition of ACS Technologies (ACST), a provider of church management software and services.

The transaction brings together two organizations that have collaborated for more than a decade, creating a single platform that will provide more than 40,000 churches and ministries with tools for management, giving, and payments. The combined company will serve users through an integrated suite of services designed to streamline workflows and reduce the burden on staff and volunteers.
