Prior Experience
Berge started his legal career as an attorney in Lebanon and earned degrees in Lebanese and French Law from the Université Saint-Joseph of Beirut. Additionally, he holds master's degrees in French Law from the Université de Lyon and Comparative Law from Fiduciaire De L'Economie (FIEDC), Strasbourg, France.
Civic and Charitable
Parallel to his professional life, Berge has been actively engaged in various civic activities. From 2002 through 2024, he served as Chairman of the Board and President of the Armenian General Benevolent Union, the largest worldwide Armenian organization outside the Republic of Armenia and still serves as the organization's Honorary President. He has also been active in a variety of other national and professional associations, including the American Task Force for Lebanon and the American University of Armenia.
