On 4 and 5 June 2026, DLA Piper's Investment Arbitration Pre-Moot – in preparation for the Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court (FIAMC) – will take place for the first time at DLA Piper's office in Rome, as a side event of Italian Arbitration Day (IAD).

We invite teams to participate and measure their advocacy abilities ahead of the FIAMC. Participants will receive useful feedback from prominent arbitrators and professionals active in the arbitration community.

The rounds of hearings will take place on Thursday and Friday, 4 and 5 June 2026. The final hearing between the two best teams will take place on Friday, 5 June 2026, around noon.

The traditional kick-off conference of the Rome Investment Arbitration Pre-Moot will be held on 4 June 2026 and we're holding networking cocktails on the DLA Piper rooftop terrace on Thursday, 4 June.

The Pre-Moot is free to enter. But places are limited on a first-come, first-served basis. Registering for the FIAMC Competition is a pre-requisite to participate in the DLA Piper Rome Investment Arbitration Pre-Moot.
