DLA Piper advises insightsoftware on the acquisition of IDL Group

DLA Piper has advised US-based insightsoftware, a portfolio company of TA Associates and Genstar Capital, on the acquisition of the German financial performance management software provider IDL Group from LEA Partners.

The acquisition of IDL will expand insightsoftware's financial consolidation and close expertise in market-specific needs for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and will also strengthen insightsoftware's presence and customer base in Europe. The closing of the transaction is subject to regulatory approval.

IDL Group specializes in the development of software solutions and offers a financial performance management suite, including software solutions for financial consolidation, planning, reporting, and analytics, serving a diverse range of industries. IDL is headquartered in Germany with subsidiaries in Austria, France and Switzerland.

US-based insightsoftware is a global provider of enterprise software solutions for the Office of the CFO. Over 25,000 organizations worldwide rely on insightsoftware’s portfolio of reporting, analytics, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation and tax solutions.
