Telefónica sells assets to American Tower in US$9.4 billion deal

US telecoms infrastructure company American Tower has hired three Allen & Overy LLP offices, Marval O’Farrell Mairal in Buenos Aires, Brazil’s Pinheiro Neto Advogados and DLA Piper LLP in Santiago and Lima to acquire the communication tower division of Telefónica’s subsidiary Telxius for US$9.4 billion.
