The EU Forced Labour Regulation (EUFLR), Regulation (EU) 2024/3015, bans products made with forced labor and child labor from being sold in, or exported from, the EU. The regulation has global reach and applies to US companies that manufacture, source, import, or sell products connected to the EU market, regardless of where they are headquartered.
Join DLA Piper lawyers on Tuesday, April 14 as they explain what the regulation means for US businesses and outline practical steps companies can take now to prepare for December 2027, when EUFLR becomes enforceable.
Speakers will address:
- The scope and impact of EUFLR on US companies
- What compliance and risk-based due diligence looks like in practice
- How the law will be enforced and what to expect from regulators
- Key consequences of non-compliance, including product bans and supply chain disruption
