Haley Jeppson is a Data Scientist on the firm's AI Innovation Team, PiperAI. She helps ensure accountability and transparency in AI systems through data analytics, bias detection and mitigation, algorithmic fairness testing, monitoring of emerging compliance standards, and internal tool development. Haley is skilled at turning data into insights and communicating complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Haley earned her Ph.D. in Statistics from Iowa State University and has served as a postdoctoral researcher at the National Institute of Statistical Sciences and as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Iowa. She combines statistical expertise with regulatory knowledge to support clients in their AI and data pursuits, making complex technical concepts accessible to legal, compliance, and business stakeholders.
