Preparing for Environmental and Catastrophic Events: Proactive disaster response governance
Wednesday, October 15, 2025
The unpredictability and suddenness of environmental events can bring devastation to communities and the industries who support them. DLA Piper lawyers hosted the Environmental and Catastrophic Events Webinar Series, where participants learned how environmental conditions and regulatory scrutiny are reshaping the legal landscape – and what companies can do to prepare. DLA Piper lawyers provided practical guidance on managing exposure before, during, and after events such as wildfires, hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, and more.
In this first program of the series, DLA Piper lawyers explored developing proactive disaster response protocols before a catastrophic environmental event occurs. A preview of all four programs in the series is below.
