DLA Piper Canada advised on combination between royalty companies Metalla and Nova

On December 1, 2023, Metalla Royalty & Streaming Ltd. (“Metalla”) (TSXV: MTA) (NYSE American: MTA) and Nova ‎Royalty Corp. (TSXV: NOVR) (OTCQB: NOVRF) (“Nova”) announced that they ‎have completed their previously announced arrangement transaction in which Metalla acquired all of the issued and outstanding common shares of ‎Nova, and concurrently completed a $65 million investment from Beedie Capital comprised of a convertible loan agreement to fund acquisitions and an equity placement. The transaction positions the combined company as a leading ‎emerging intermediate royalty company.‎ ‎‎
