Leo Javorek has over 20 years of experience, and his practice covers the entire banking and finance sector, as well as debt restructuring and insolvency.

Throughout his career, Leo has built a strong track record representing both lenders and borrowers, navigating a wide range of challenging financing transactions. His expertise covers complex areas such as structured finance, acquisition finance, real estate finance, and project finance, ensuring tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of each client.

  • Advising VARTA AG, a German manufacturer of batteries for the global automotive, industrial, and consumer markets, on the successful completion of a complex financial, operative, and strategic restructuring.
  • Advising Česká spořitelna in connection with refinancing of an office building, which is the first building of its kind in the world to have smog absorption and air emission reduction technology, owned by Korean investor.
  • Advising Česká spořitelna in connection with financing of the development of the residential building META in Prague 4, developed on a brownfield site by developers KKCG Real Estate and ALMA Development.
  • Advising Česká spořitelna in connection with the financings of 2 office projects, ZET.office in Brno and Mayhouse in Prague controlled by CPI.
  • Advising one of the leading banks on the Czech market in connection with financing of development of light industrial park. The industrial park comprising of approximately 170,000 square meters of leasable area will become one of the largest industrial parks in the region and is being developed as built-to-suit project for the single tenant.
  • Advising UBM Development in connection with financing for development of its residential project Astrid Garden in Prague by Raiffeisenbank.
  • Advising UBM Development, one of the leading developers of timber construction projects in Europe, in connection with the financing of the development of Phase 2 and Phase 3 of its Arcus City project, a residential complex with more than 270 apartments, part of which is also the first sustainable timber apartment building in Prague.
  • Advising Discovery Group, property investment and development company, on comprehensive refinancing of Centro Nitra shopping centre.
  • Advising Holešovický Trojúhelník, a Czech company that belongs to LORDSHIP Group, a Czech real estate and development group, in connection with the comprehensive refinancing of Centrum Stromovka shopping centre in Prague by J&T Banka.
  • Advising Aareal bank on acquisition financing of a portfolio of Hoxton (and Mama Shelter) branded hotels in four jurisdictions.
  • Advising one of the largest Czech-based bank in connection with financings for, inter alia, development of both phase I and phase II of the luxury residential project „Pomezí“ in Prague by KKCG Real Estate, development of logistic parks by Accolade and Panattoni, shopping centre Centro Zlín, the largest shopping centre in Zlín region, mixed-use property Na Příkopě 14 in the historical centre of Prague, acquisition of shopping centre Krakov in Prague or acquisition of historical mixed-use property in Vodičkova street in Prague.
